I love these blushes! My only complaint is that there are not more color options. That being said, the colors there are are very easily suited to many different skin tones, I think. Yes, some do contain carmine, but the ones that do not are easily found, and are equally lovely. I do have to disagree with a previous reviewer- carmine is certainly a "natural" ingredient. You do find those beetles in nature, the resulting color is not created in a laboratory. It's certainly kind of repulsive, and I do try to avoid it. But again, several of these blushes do not contain it. All the blushes I have tried are incredibly pigmented, just one dip of a brush into them is more than enough. You do need to be careful not to apply too much, and to blend well. However, these tiny blushes will last forever! Wild Rose scared me off for a long time with how dark it appeared in the pan, but very lightly applied and blended well- this is actually one of my new favorite colors! On my cooler-toned, fair-ish (Ecco Bella Light Beige Foundation) skin, this is the perfect plummy-rosey flush. I also love Earthy Rose- I think that would look good on almost anyone, and I tend to avoid browner blushes, but it just works. Both of these are carmine free, and would be a good place to start for many skin tones. I love that they fit into the large compacts with a couple of eyeshadows for an easy travel option, or into a small compact in their own. Love the eco-friendly, less waste packaging. All in all, almost perfect!

I have been using the flowercolor blush and eye shadow for a few years and there is nothing else that can compare.
I have the paperback duo compact, it is a great size and makes it easy to refill or change colors. The colors last a long time and they don't cause irritation.

There is only one organic ingredient listed in this product, but it is not enough for me to consider this organic or even natural cosmetic line. The company uses Carmine, considered a "natural" dye...it is an extract of an insect. Beetlejuice. Red
Beetles boiled with ammonia. Not natural, green or eco friendly... or as advertised on Ecco Bella's website as, " flower or plant based". If using ingredient with something with legs, it should not be classified as Natural...unless insects are part of the daily diet. Disappointed. I really wanted to like this product. Organic and Natural cosmetic lines will use pomegranet or beet extract for their red dyes...those are natural. Perhaps Ecco Bella can follow their lead and reformulate to be crueltyfree?

This was very natural looking and felt light.

I love this blush - it is a little brighter than I like to wear on a daily basis but if I apply lightly it looks fantastic! It fits great into the duo compact. I love the matte look and I'm so glad that it's not metallic and shimmery.

I thought form the advertising that this product would be more shimmery but I find it to be rather flat. Didn't know which case to buy to fit the item(s) and still don't.

I got the blush "Purity" and it is the perfect color. Not too bright and very natural. Lasts all day and the best part is it is truly natural. I'm just starting to switch to organic and natural makeup and was skeptical at first but I am thrilled!! Only thing is it only comes in a little box...no container which is pretty inconvenient and odd; only reason why not 5 stars.

I got the peach rose. It's a tiny bit warmer than I thought but still a nice, natural color. I reviewed all of the products that I bought at once (full face for allergy reasons). I did forget to mention before how impressed I was with the packaging. It was all carefully packaged and in mint condition when I received it via USPS. I am completely thrilled with everything I ordered and must say again... God bless Ecco Bella! Thank you!!

The blush is great. It's HIGHLY pigmented and concentrated so a very little goes a long way! I make sure to tap my blush brush on the side of my make-up drawer before applying otherwise you'll have way too much blush on your face even if you only lightly dipped the end of your blush brush. As previously mentioned in a review, the blush only comes in a little paper box/case. Be careful when you slide the drawer out and take the blush "coin" because it's not glued or attached and can fall out... poor packaging construction for high priced item. Other than that, it's great.

Stronger color than I realized. A little goes a long way. Best mixed with some foundation for day time but is dazzling for evening.
