AHA products that wash off, or with a pH higher than 4.0 do not exfoliate. This one has a pH of 3.5 and you leave it on. Salicylic acid goes deeper into the pores to smooth skin and safely dry up blemishes.

Directions for Blemish Treatment. Shake well. After cleansing and toning, apply to affected area in a thin layer one to three times daily. To avoid excessive drying, start with one application daily and gradually increase.
