I wanted to express my appreciation for the wonderful products you're producing. About a month ago I purchased the http://www.eccobella.com/cosmetics/natural-beauty-looks/annabella-shimmery-smoky-brown-look and love it! It is soooo natural - feeling and looking.

When the package arrived one of the eye shadows was broken and a team member of yours replaced it within 48 hours. I was impressed and grateful.

The bronzer, blush and mascara are my favorites so far - probably because I use them most frequently. ;) It feels like my skin looks better as the day goes on as if the makeup is nourishing my skin.

I really appreciate your use of natural ingredients and your kindness to the earth as I work on a farm that employs organic farming methods using biodynamic preparations. Please express my gratitude to all in your venture.

While others may promote a popular commercial brand of cosmetics because they're 'worth it,' they can have it.  Any brand that would even consider testing their so-called 'beauty products' on innocent animals is a brand that promotes cruelty, not beauty.  That said, Ecco Bella does NOT fit in that category with is beautiful array of products created for individuals who truly love the planet, believe in animal welfare, and respect and love themselves.


I've been a user of Ecco Bella for over a decade and I keep coming back for more.  The products just keep getting better – and now they're naturally preservative-free, so there's no concern about absorbing the toxic chemicals that appear in your average commercial brands (including the one claiming 'I'm worth it').


Healthy, radiant skin needs to breathe. Read the label on the creams and makeup you purchase. Natural ingredients are organic, like our skin and bodies. Synthetic ingredients, obviously, are not – they're chemicals that can harm our delicate skin. Some of the more commonly used synthetic ingredients found in drugstore and department store brand-name products are:

• Propylene Glycol: used in cosmetics as a humectant, surfactant, and solvent; used in cars as antifreeze and hydraulic brake fluid. Petroleum-based, it can cause allergic and toxic reactions, and is being studied for its link to cancer when applied topically.


• Mineral Oil: used in place of fruit and vegetable oils such as avocado or apricot-kernel oil, because it is cheaper and more stable, it acts as a solvent on the skin (making it inappropriate for dry skin) and clogs the pores (making it inappropriate for oily skin). Applied topically to “normal" skin, it prevents the large organ from breathing.


• Isopropyl Alcohol: a synthetic alcohol produced by the hydration of ethylene – usually petroleum-based.


• SD Alcohol: "SD" stands for “specially denatured," meaning chemicals were added to render the alcohol poisonous to drink. The number following (i.e., SD Alcohol "40") refers to the particular chemicals added to determine in which products the alcohol should be used.


• Paraffin Wax: a petroleum byproduct. Think candles.


• Triethanolamine: used to create emulsions. Toxic due to over-alkalinity.


• Methylparaben, propylparaben: synthetic preservatives that can produce allergic reactions.


• Stearic Acid: usually an animal byproduct, which can cause allergic reactions.


• Sodium Stearate: 92.82% stearic acid. Used in creams and lotions.


• Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulfate: used in hair-care products, this synthetic detergent that strips the hair and scalp of moisture can make dandruff and oily hair worse!

Maybe young skin can use all these toxic chemicals and get away with it for awhile, but older skin dries out and looks tired and wrinkled when cheap cosmetics including the above-mentioned ingredients are applied to it.  Being that our skin is the largest organ of the body, what goes on it and is absorbed into it is very important.


Just one of the things I love about Ecco Bella's cosmetics is the heavenly smelling ingredients, which include lovely essential oils that benefit the skin.  They also have other organic ingredients that can actually build the immune system and calm the skin, including organic coconut oil, vitamin cells, marine phytoplankton in the form of astaxanthin, Co-Q-10, chamomile, arnica, hyaluronic acid, and so much more.  Not only do I use the facial skin care line, but also the body lotion (lavender being my favorite) and, of course, the makeup. 


The foundations can be combined to give you the perfect match to your skin, and they settle on it smoothly, rather than filling in the creases to enhance wrinkles.  The shadows are vibrant, yet subtle, and can be used for the eyes or eyebrows.  The eyeliners glide on so smoothly you don't need to worry about pulling the skin in the delicate eye area, and the lip color stays nicely put for hours.  I may not enjoy walking by my mirror as much as I used to when I was half my age, but with the use of such wonderful cosmetics as Ecco Bella's, I still get compliments from people who don't believe my age. 


No, I don't work for Ecco Bella, but I certainly buy their products.  And you know what?  I'm worth it!

I just wanted to say your products are amazing! Right now I am using the
coral rose blush and everyday I use the deep taupe and earth eyeshadows to
fill in my eyebrows. Your products last long and are amazing quality,
especially in terms of health! I will be a long time customer!! Thank you
for putting healthy products into a market full of greedy companies that
coat us in toxins only to line their pockets. You guys are really are heroes
